Emotional and Mental Health

Anyone can experience thoughts and feelings that are distressing or affect their ability to concentrate on their work/studies: anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, bereavement, issues of sexuality, relationship difficulties, family conflict, homesickness, problems arising from studies.

We are a team of Health Professionals who offer an accessible and supportive service for all students experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties which are impacting upon their studies and/or daily lives.

Our role is to enable you to overcome barriers in order to achieve your potential.

What kind of difficulties do students bring?

  • Struggles with work and studies
  • Stress, anxiety and low mood
  • Adjusting to change
  • Self-harming behaviours
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Eating issues
  • Dependancy and addiction
  • Concerns about sexuality
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Family problems
  • Sexual, emotional or physical abuse
  • Issues with self-esteem and confidence
  • Long term mental health difficulties

Sometimes there isn't a specific problem but sometimes you may just want to talk. We are here to support you, provide time for you and help create a postive future.
