Summer Reassessment Fund
Continuing students who have been receiving benefits over the summer vacation can apply to the Summer Reassessment Fund. This bridges the gap between benefits payments stopping (usually 1st September) to the start date of their course in the following academic year.
How to apply
You need to complete an application form, which you can obtain from:

Summer Vacation Access to Learning Fund
(This Fund will reopen in Summer 2012. The opening and closing dates will be posted here near the end of the academic year 2011/12)
Non-final year students are expected to financially support themselves during the summer. However, the following students are eligible to apply to the Summer Vacation Access to Learning Fund:
- students with children
- students who are ill or have a disability
- students required to re-sit elements of their course which prevents them from seeking work.
