Information for Academic Staff

The Disability Support Team provides information, support and guidance to:
  • disabled students
  • students with Specific Learning Difficulties (such as dyslexia)
  • students with mental illness or mental health difficulties
  • students with conditions that impact upon the way they study and learn.

We work with students to develop individual learning support strategies.

If we have permission from a student, academic staff will get an electronic copy of the student's Disability Support Memo. The memo will outline that student's support requirements, including their entitlement to accommodations (which are alternative or supplementary arrangements) for examinations and assessments.

Please contact the Disability Support Team if you have any questions. We are always happy to provide information and support to our colleagues.

Alternatively, contact your own Faculty Disability Support Tutor.
