New students

Welcome to the University of Sunderland. We hope you have a fantastic time studying here.

We are the Disability Support Team and we are available to give information, support and guidance to students with disabilities, students with mental illness or mental health difficulties, and to students who have a Specific Learning Difficulty (such as dyslexia).

We are the starting point for you to discuss and organise your learning support.

It's a confidential and individual service, geared up to your own needs. You can find out about academic support, exam arrangements and lots more.

Why not find out what we offer?  There are links to more information below or you can come and talk to us.  The Disability Support Team is available to you now, all you have to do is get in touch.

Best wishes,

The Disability Support Team
