Welcome to the Chaplaincy

The Chaplaincy is involved in the life of the University at all levels and across all parts of the institution, offering:

  • Friendship
  • Support
  • Pastoral care
  • Advice on religious matters to both students and staff, regardless of any particular religious affiliation or none

Please feel free to use the Chaplaincy Service in the way that is most beneficial and appropriate to your needs.

We regularly organise events in and around Sunderland. Visit the Interfaith Chaplaincy Centre events page to find out more.

Recent events have included a film screening of Les Miserables, a charity ceilidh for Fairtrade Fortnight and Taize service at Sunderland Minster.

To keep up to date with new events, please follow the Chaplaincy on Facebook.
