Services for Graduates
Who can use the services for graduates?
You are welcome to use the service if you are:
- A former student of the University of Sunderland who has completed a programme of study leading to a degree or an award at NVQ Level 4 or above* within the last 3 years.
(*NVQ Level 4 awards include BTEC Higher Diplomas, Foundation Degrees and Degree awards. NVQ Level 5 awards include Post Graduate Certificates and Diplomas, Masters and Doctoral awards.) - A graduate returning to Wearside from another university, unless you have attended a university in the North East, and then you will be referred back to your own institution. (N.B. a graduate from another North East university who has used the 'Graduates Wearside' service before, can still access the service up to 3 years after graduation).
About Prospects
We work in close partnership with Prospects, the UK's official graduate careers website, to offer graduates the following range of services (exclusively from My Prospects) to:
create tailored job or postgraduate course searches - receive the latest jobs and courses direct to your email or mobile
- receive the Prospects.ac.uk Newsletter and Prospects Graduate digital magazine (packed with the latest news and vacancies!)
- access career planning tools, including Prospects Planner
- have your CV checked by a professional and receive free careers advice
- use your online CV and apply for Postgraduate course opportunities.
