The Careers and Employability Service enables you to add value to your business.  It is a completely free of charge service that provides you with exceptional students and graduates that fulfil your recruitment needs.

  • We offer you advice with any recruitment query including when to advertise.

In addition, our staff can offer advice on:

  • Local and national graduate recruitment markets and salaries.
  • Additional contacts to help fill your vacancy.

Raising your profile in the University of Sunderland

There are a number of ways in which your organisation can build links with staff and students of the University. Some examples are:

  • Participation in skills development activities such as offering mock interview and assessment centre experience.
  • Attending events for e.g. recruitment events and employer forums
  • Offering curriculum based work-related projects or placements.
  • Careers Advisers liaise with specific academic departments and are well placed to advise you, and to find the right contacts in the University.
